Los Angeles Rams Add Veteran Depth Piece To Offensive Line

The Los Angeles Rams made a valuable roster addition on Thursday afternoon by signing veteran offensive tackle David Quessenberry to the roster.

Quessenberry was most recently with the Minnesota Vikings, where he played in 33 games, with four starts, over the last two seasons. In his seven-year career, he has started 30 games and played in 84.

He was drafted by the Houston Texans out of San Jose State in the sixth round and had stops with the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills.

While the addition of Quessenberry is a value depth add, he will certainly compete and push the starters, and will be a quality spot start should injuries stack up, as they seem to do often for the Rams on the offensive line.

The Los Angeles Rams’ current tackle depth looks like this:

  • Alaric Jackson
  • Rob Havenstein
    • AJ Arcuri
    • Warren McClendon Jr.
    • Trey Wedig

Quessenberry will likely be their most reliable backup, and he has the ability to play special teams, which may happen often.

He should be available immediately, as OTAs have already begun and Training Camp is just a month and a half away.
