Los Angeles Rams Linked to Trade for 3x All-Pro Defender

General manager Les Snead has been hard at work, finding ways to upgrade the Los Angeles Rams’ roster after a six-point loss in the Divisional Round Playoffs. While he’s done well to add multiple players who could become significant contributors throughout the course of the 2025 NFL season, there could be another big move on the way.

Specifically, NFL Network insider Cameron Wolfe still believes the Rams are a team that could end up winning the Jalen Ramsey trade sweepstakes. While Wolfe said there is “nothing imminent” regarding a Ramsey trade, the Rams may be waiting until June 1. That’s when a trade would deliver $9.9 million in cap savings instead of incurring a $25 million dead cap charge for moving on from him now.

Yet, when the Rams are willing to reopen Ramsey trade negotiations, the Dolphins are already “aware of the teams he’d be interested in, including his former Super Bowl team in Los Angeles.

“We’ve heard the LA Rams and their coaching and GM staff rave about Jalen Ramsey. We’ll kind of see how the money factors in, but for the Dolphins, they’re already planning to move on.”

With Wolfe examining past teams who have worked closely with Ramsey, the conversation also mentioned the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. Yet, if it’s a contender that Ramsey wants, returning to the familiarity in Los Angeles might be preferred.

Ramsey started all 17 games last season, 60 tackles, 11 pass deflections, two interceptions, and a sack. Perhaps most notably, the Dolphins missed the postseason and now he could be looking for a way to improve his odds at playing in another Super Bowl.
