Teams are never done building their rosters, and that’s certainly true with the Los Angeles Rams too. Moreso, we’ve seen how willing general manager Les Snead is to acquire high-profile players capable of making a significant impact.
Could Snead be getting prepared to strike again?
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, former Rams Super Bowl-winning cornerback Jalen Ramsey has Los Angeles “on his radar” again.
“The LA Rams, Ramsey’s old team, is on his radar as a potential option. Nothing moving there as of yet. He should have a new team this fall.”

Fowler went on to report that Ramsey should have a new team in the “coming days and weeks” indicating a trade could happen fairly quickly. It’s also possible that the Miami Dolphins have been waiting until June 1, when trading the three-time All-Pro becomes more cost-effective.
Now that June 1 is here, the Dolphins can save roughly $10 million on their 2025 salary cap. Ramsey also has $24 million guaranteed coming his way throughout the next three seasons, which reportedly has “spooked” some teams.
With a Ramsey trade now more likely, we’ll see if the Rams are ready to pounce. They certainly have enough inside intel on their former player to make a move.
