According to NFL schedule maven OzzyNFL, the Los Angeles Chargers’ 2025 season will feature at least two notable NFC matchups.
In Week 4, the Chargers are set to face the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. The Giants, coming off a challenging 3–14 season, have a daunting start to their schedule, including games against the Commanders, Cowboys, and Chiefs before hosting the Chargers. This game presents an opportunity for the Chargers to capitalize on a Giants staff that will likely still be working out the best option at quarterback.
This offseason they signed both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, then traded up to get back into the first round to draft Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart. Tommy DeVito is also on the roster.
Due to the divisional rotation, the Chargers play the entirety of the NFC East.

In Week 8, the Chargers will host the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football. This primetime game is particularly significant as it features a potential reunion between Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh and Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy. Harbaugh and McCarthy shared a successful tenure at the University of Michigan, culminating in a 15–0 season and a national championship in 2023. McCarthy, who was drafted 10th overall by the Vikings in 2024, has since become a key figure in Minnesota’s offense.
Minnesota faced a similar fate to the Chargers in 2024. After an impressive regular season, winning 11 games, the Vikings were bounced from the playoffs by the Los Angeles Rams.
