The USC Trojans just wrapped their first official visit weekend of June, and it was a smashing success. They landed the commitment of 4-star CB Peyton Dryer, and are trending towards a commitment of 4-star linebacker Talanoa Ili, who will make his decision on Father’s Day.
They are in a really good spot with both Jalen Lott and Boobie Feaster, both of whom are 4-star wide receivers.
Another player that the Trojans hope to secure is 5-star safety Jett Washington. The 6’5, 200-pound prospect out of Las Vegas, Nevada, took his official visit mid-week before heading to Oregon for the weekend.
I have felt like the Trojans have been picking up steam in the Washington sweepstakes, and now that notion may have been confirmed.
USC Trojans In A Good Spot For Jett Washington
Tom Loy and Blair Angulo of 247 Sports recently provided an update on Washington’s recruitment. I have been saying that I believe it is a three horse race between Alabama, Oregon, and USC.
I’m not ready to count Alabama yet, but according to Loy, it seems that it might be down to Oregon and USC now.
“Per sources connected to all four programs, everyone says that his final decision is going to come down to the Ducks and the Trojans. Personally, I don’t think you can count out the Crimson Tide, but the majority of people believe Washington stays out West. The most optimism is coming from Oregon. Candidly, sources at USC believe Oregon is the likeliest of landing spots. However, from an NIL standpoint, his biggest offer is likely coming from the Trojans, which will make it interesting,” Loy wrote.
Oregon having the final visit certainly gives them an advantage, but USC has plenty of ties (nephew of the late great Kobe Bryant), and has made a really strong push.

There have also been reports that they are out on Brandon Arrington and Davon Benjamin, so if that is true, Washington is likely the last and only DB that they are pursuing.
Washington would be another massive addition for the USC Trojans, who already have the No. 1 2026 class in the country.
Can they close it out? We will be following this recruitment closely all the way to the end.
