USC Trojans Building New Pipeline With Latest Commitment Crystal Ball

The USC Trojans are rebuilding their pipeline in the State of California. Of their 14 commitments in the 2026 class so far, 9 play high school football in Cali. It’s a sight to see, and the momentum around the program has not been this high in quite some time.

All of this being said, USC is still a national brand and still needs to keep roots in other football hotbeds. One of those hotbeds is Louisiana, and it seems that the Trojans are beginning to build a little pipeline in “The Boot.”

USC Trojans defensive line coach Eric Henderson is from Louisiana, and he attended the famed Edna Karr High School. The prized recruit of the 2025 class, DL Jahkeem Stewart, is from Louisiana and had transferred to Edna Karr before committing to USC.

Now, there is another prized recruit in the 2026 class that is not only trending towards the Trojans but picked up a “futurecast” prediction from Rivals Sam Spiegelman to commit to USC. That recruit is none other than 4-star defensive lineman Dylan Berymon.

4-Star Defensive Lineman Dylan Berymon Picks Up Prediction To USC Trojans

For most of last year, Berymon was heavily favored to choose his hometown school, the LSU Tigers, but similar to the recruitment of Jahkeem Stewart, other schools have begun picking up steam, especially USC.

As of March 11, the 3 teams at the top of his list, according to Rivals, were Texas, Texas A&M, and USC. He currently has four official visits scheduled:

  • Mississippi: May 30
  • Houston: June 6
  • Texas: June 13
  • USC: June 20

Berymon had two unofficial visits with the USC Trojans last season in October and November, so there has clearly been a relationship built with the staff and Coach Henderson. There also could be some recruiting going on from potential teammates, primarily Jahkeem Stewart.

Between Stewart, Coach Henny, and USC’s new found ties to Louisiana, it was enough for Spiegelman to predict Berymon to the USC Trojans.

Standing 6’2 and weighing 305 pounds, Berymon is the 21st-ranked defensive lineman in the country, per On3 Industry Rankings, two spots behind Braeden Jones, who is already committed to USC.

This would be a great pipeline for the Trojans to continue to build.
