The USC Trojans have the No. 1 2026 recruiting class and are looking to add to it with a strong June filled with high-profile official visits.
One player who has yet to lock in an official visit is 4-star, local cornerback Davon Benjamin.
The No. 3 CB in the nation, according to On3 Industry Rankings, took an official visit to Michigan last weekend, and just today locked in an OV with the Texas Longhorns.
Davon Benjamin OV Not Yet Scheduled With USC Trojans
With RJ Sermons reclassifying to the 2025 class, the USC Trojans have a spot open for another blue-chip defensive back, and Benjamin would be a fantastic addition to the class. The Trojans will have steep competition, however, for the Oaks Christian prospect.
In regard to his OV that he just scheduled with Texas, On3 says:
“The Longhorns are squarely in the mix for the Golden State standout and are looking to separate from the pack, competing against schools like Georgia, Miami, Oregon, and USC. Benjamin has visited The Forty Acres before and will now return for his second OV in as many weekends.”
The Trojans will be looking to add at least one more blue-chip defensive back, whether that be Benjamin, Brandon Arrington, or Jett Washington.
