One of the best players in the country who is still uncommitted is 4-Star linebacker Talanoa Ili. The once Orange Lutheran, now Kahuku prospect, is highly sought after and has official visits lined up with all of the big schools.
It seems, however, that his commitment could ultimately come down to two schools, and they just happen to be bitter rivals.
Talanoa Ili Commitment Could Come Down To USC Trojans And UCLA Bruins
Talanoa Ili kicked off his official visit schedule with a visit to the UCLA Bruins last weekend. It went very well, and he has strong family ties to the University.
To the outside world, UCLA may seem like a long shot compared to the likes of Oregon, Texas, Notre Dame, and USC, but they are a real player and have a legit shot of landing the talented linebacker.
All this being said, the USC Trojans are still the heavy favorite. While it may come down to the cross-town rivals, the Trojans have the upper hand with their official visit just around the corner.

Coaches Rob Ryan and Shaun Nua have been down to visit Ili in Hawaii twice in the last month, and Ili is scheduled to be on campus this weekend for his OV.
If the visit goes well, there is a strong chance that Ili could commit after the weekend and shut down his recruitment, canceling any future visits.
As of today, he still has future OVs scheduled with Notre Dame (6/10), Texas (6/13), and Oregon (6/20). Anything is possible, but all indications are that it will be a battle of LA for Talanoa Ili.
