As the USC Trojans look to add to their 2026 recruiting class, the No. 1 CB in the nation, Brandon Arrington, has set his commitment announcement date.
He is choosing between five programs:
- USC Trojans
- Alabama Crimson Tide
- Oregon Ducks
- Penn State Nittany Lions
- Texas A&M Aggies
Arrington will announce his commitment on July 5th.

USC Trojans Priority Recruit Brandon Arrington To Announce Commitment July 5
The 5-star Arrington is the No. 1 cornerback in the nation, according to On3 Industry Rankings. He is the 13th-ranked overall player nationally and the 2nd-ranked player in the State of California.
The USC Trojans currently hold commitments from the 3rd-ranked corner, RJ Sermons, and the 8th-ranked corner, Brandon Lockhart. They also just received a recruiting commitment prediction for the 4th-ranked corner Elbert Hill.
If they are able to land Arrington, they would have one of the strongest CB classes in recent memory.
Arrington is also a world-class track athlete. Aside from being the hometown school, this is another factor that could pay dividends in USC’s recruitment, as the Men’s Track Team just won the 2025 National Championship. If Arrington wants to run track in College (similar to how Duce Robinson played baseball), USC would give him the most opportunity in that sport as well.
Arrington has official visits scheduled with each of his five contending schools.
- Penn State – May 2
- Texas A&M – June 5
- Alabama – June 13
- USC – June 17
- Oregon – June 20
He will make his decision shortly after these visits. Arrington is from the same town as USC Trojans legend Reggie Bush.
