The USC Trojans are firmly in the mix for elite 4-star wide receiver Boobie Feaster as he is set to announce his commitment on Friday, July 4th. The announcement is sure to come with some fireworks, pun intended.
Just yesterday, there were multiple expert predictions for Feaster to commit to Texas A&M. There has apparently been a shift overnight (similar to the recruitment of Luke Wafle) because the predictions are now rolling in for the USC Trojans.
USC Trojans Earn Multiple Expert Predictions For Boobie Feaster
I wrote just yesterday that even though the Aggies had earned a few crystal balls, I still felt confident that the Trojans could get this done, and Feaster would ultimately put on the USC hat on July 4th. I still feel really good about that, based on people I have talked to, and others in the recruiting world are now trending that way as well.
Since this morning (July 2), the On3/Rivals team has made FIVE expert predictions in favor of USC.
Sam Spiegelman and Steve Wiltfong on the National scale, USC insider Scott Schrader, Texas A&M insider Landyn Rosow, and regional recruiting insider Max Torres have all put in intel landing Feaster with the Trojans.

Feaster was originally the No. 1-ranked WR in the 2027 class before reclassifying to the 2026 class. He now sits as the 5th-ranked receiver, with a ton of upside.
USC WR Coach Dennis Simmons and Lincoln Riley have been recruiting Feaster since before he even went to high school, and they talk to the talented young man almost daily.
If he were to commit, he would be the 5th wide receiver for the USC Trojans’ 2026 class, joining:
- 4-Star Trent Mosley
- 4-Star Luc Weaver
- 4-Star Roderick Tezeno
- 4-Star Ja’Myron ‘Tron’ Baker
Feaster has an elite skillset that would give Lincoln Riley a true No. 1 receiver. Pairing him with the receivers already in the class, plus the likes of the No. 1 TE in the country in Mark Bowman, would be a lethal set of skill players in an offense that has the potential to be the best in the country.
What would this mean for 4-star WR Jalen Lott? If Feaster is to commit to USC, that will likely close the door on any other receivers committing, as the Trojans will likely stand pat with 5 total WRs in the class. However, never say never, as they have a strong relationship with Lott as well.
For now, we feel very confident about Boobie Feaster rocking the Cardinal and Gold. Comment your thoughts below!
