USC Trojans Add Talented Wide Receiver From Transfer Portal

All eyes are on the NFL Draft, but the USC Trojans are still hard at work to improve their team, and they just did that by adding transfer portal wideout Zacharyus Williams.

Williams entered the transfer portal after just one season with the Utah Utes. He is coming off his true freshman year.

WR Zacharyus Williams Commits To USC Trojans

Williams is from Southern California and attended Junipero Serra in Gardena, California. He was a 3-star recruit and was offered by USC late in the process before signing his letter of intent with the Utes a few weeks later.

As a prospect, Williams was the 39th-ranked wide receiver in the 2024 class.

With Utah last season as a true freshman, he finished with 10 receptions and 101 yards.

He will join a veteran room, which includes:

  • Ja’Kobi Lane
  • Makai Lemon
  • Prince Strachan
  • Jay Fair
  • Xavier Jordan
  • Jaden Richardson
  • Josiah Zamora
    • Corey Simms
    • Tanook Hines
    • Romero Ison

The 6’2, 196-pound receiver will be a great depth piece for the Trojans, but also, because he is so young, he will have the opportunity to develop into an eventual starter.
