The USC Trojans’ 2026 recruiting class remains firmly anchored at No. 1, boosted by the recent commitment of linebacker Talanoa Ili from Kahuku High. Ili, opting for USC over UCLA, Oregon, and others, is the 29th addition to Lincoln Riley’s next-generation lineup.
🎯 Still on USC Trojans’ Radar
Though the class is largely set, according to Steve Wiltfong, four high-impact targets remain in play—each capable of elevating USC’s recruiting further.
Wide Receiver: Ethan “Boobie” Feaster & Jalen Lott
The Trojans are doubling down on the receiver spot, chasing two elite Texas prospects. Feaster (No. 5 WR, No. 44 overall per On3) visited USC officially and is caught in a competitive battle with Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M. While On3’s Steve Wiltfong favors Texas A&M, USC recruiting insider Scott Schrader still sees USC in the mix—and a decision is expected July 4.
Lott (No. 2 athlete, No. 54 overall) has visited LSU and USC, and heads next to Texas and Oregon. Though momentum swung toward Oregon earlier, Texas now leads. Either commitment would bring USC’s 2026 receiver total to five.

Edge Rusher: Luke Wafle
Wafle, a Hun School standout and top-10 edge rusher (No. 52 overall per On3), impressed during a recent official visit. Uplifted in USC’s recruitment, he’s now considered a frontrunner alongside Texas, Ohio State, and Penn State.
Offensive Line: Breck Kolojay
The Trojans’ offensive line class is strong, headlined by five-star Keenyi Pepe. Kolojay, a four-star from IMG Academy, is the final piece USC seeks—though he remains in the mix with Georgia and Miami.
✅ Who’s Off the Board
USC has officially stepped away from targeting defensive backs Jett Washington and Davon Benjamin, Wiltfong added, signaling a strategic shift back to remaining priorities. The focus now is concluding recruitment strong and scouting for potential mid-season standouts or flips.
🔜 Looking Ahead
With commitments nearly complete, the Trojans are in the finishing stretch. Feaster and Lott’s July 4 announcements loom large, while Wafle and Kolojay’s decisions may come later in the summer or fall.
Even with limited spots left, USC’s perfect blend of timing, coaching, and class momentum continues to position them well for battling for these final targets and defining the program’s next era.
