The USC Trojans have adopted the slogan βThe pLAce To Be,β and it rings true for so many reasons. The location in Los Angeles. The history and tradition of USC football. The facilities, old and new incoming. The educational offering. The Alumni and networking possibilities.
All of these factors, plus many more, are what make USC such a special place and such a desirable location for incoming recruits.
You also have the proximity to so many professional athletes. Besides all of the teams that play in Los Angeles, there are many players who reside in LA during the offseason or after they retire.
One such player is Los Angeles Rams legend and future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald.
Since Eric Henderson was hired by Lincoln Riley to become the Defensive Line Coach and Co-Defensive Coordinator, he has brought a lot of his LA connections with him, including Aaron Donald.
Donald has frequented the USC campus and has been on the sidelines of the Coliseum during games.
In his latest appearance, he was seen on his social media working out with incoming 5-star freshman Jahkeem Stewart.

Talk about quite the perk and a huge recruiting tool for the USC Trojans.

The ability to be coached and developed by Eric Henderson. And being able to brush shoulders and train with arguably the greatest defensive player of all time. Pretty special.
Coach Henderson and Coach Riley have raved about Stewart since he arrived on campus. His size, speed, pass rush ability, and work ethic make him a special player with the ability to make an impact as a true freshman.

He reclassified from the 2026 class, so he should just now be heading into his senior year of high school, so what he has already accomplished is remarkable.
His biggest test will be getting live game reps, versus practice and off-the-field workouts. Because he transferred to Edna Karr, he missed his high school junior season, so he has not played in a live game for quite some time.
However, per the coaching staff, he is getting up to speed quickly, and thanks to the newfound depth that the USC Trojans have, there will be no rush to get him on the field. He can take his time and develop the right way.
Training with Aaron Donald is certainly a good start.
