The UCLA Bruins and head coach DeShaun Foster have been on a recruiting heater the past few weeks. After a number of official visit weekends, which began in May, the Bruins have added quite a few quality commitments and are trending for several others.
One of those commitments is 3-star local prospect Joshua Mensah.

Joshua Mensah Commits To UCLA Bruins
Mensah, out of Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California, is a 3-star safety listed at 6-foot, 160 pounds. He is the 127th-ranked safety in the 2026 class, according to On3 Industry Rankings.
He had offers from San Jose State, CAL, Arizona, and others, but ultimately chose to stay home and commit to the UCLA Bruins.
He joins a UCLA Bruins 2026 Class that is currently ranked 16th in the nation, and 5th in the Big Ten. The class has 17 commits, and Mensah is the 2nd safety, joining Santa Margarita 3-star Logan Hirou.
The Fos Era is off to a great start in terms of recruiting, and the momentum around the program is as high as it has been since 2022.
