After the UCLA Bruins shocked the college football world when they landed both Nico and Madden Iamaleava in the transfer portal, they have now added another quarterback from the portal to the roster.

QB Pierce Clarkson Transferring To UCLA Bruins
Clarkson was a 4-star quarterback prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. On3 Industry Rankings had him ranked as the 26th-best quarterback in his class.
He committed to Louisville back in 2022 and spent the last two seasons with the Cardinals, playing very sparingly, throwing just six passes, and utilizing a redshirt year. He transferred to Ole Miss during this past winter portal window, but entered the portal again in the spring, and now finds himself in Westwood.
The UCLA Bruins have a very deep quarterback room, led by Nico Iamaleava. Behind him are his brother Madden, Luke Duncan, Dermaricus Davis, and now Clarkson.
A five-man QB room is certainly not unheard of, but it will be curious to see who they carry on the active roster. Madden Iamaleava is a true freshman, so you have to think he will absolutely have his redshirt year and will simply practice and develop and not travel to away games.
