Luka Doncic will make his Los Angeles Lakers debut tonight at Crypto.com Arena against the Utah Jazz at 7:30 PM PT. It is arguably the biggest Lakers debut since Shaquille O’Neal was traded to LA back in 1996.
In honor of the moment, Gatorade launched an epic ad campaign with the iconic Hollywood sign.

The video shows the Hollywood sign with “77” in Yellow replacing the “LL” of “Hollywood,” and then says “It’s Showtime,” an obvious homage to the Showtime Lakers.
While the real Hollywood Sign was not actually altered, this is a fantastic campaign and very creative, including not just a city landmark but also a national one.
Will Luka live up to the hype? Will he record a triple-double in his debut? Either way, it is going to be fireworks.
