The Los Angeles Dodgers begin their series with the Atlanta Braves later today, but they will be without Tommy Edman in their lineup.
He will miss the game due to an ankle injury.
Tommy Edman said his ankle is feeling “much better” than a couple days ago when he first aggravated it. Same ankle that gave him trouble last year, but different part of it.

Los Angeles Dodgers Tommy Edman Provides Injury Update

Edman told reporters that his ankle is feeling “much better” than a couple of days ago when he first injured it. Unfortunately, it is the same ankle that gave him issues last year, however, this specific injury is unrelated.
He will go through a workout today, and if that goes well, he could be back in the lineup as early as tomorrow.
For today’s game, Miguel Rojas will get the start in his place at second base.

Tommy Edman is currently batting .252 with 8 home runs and 24 RBIs. The Dodgers are 21-10 and hold the top spot in the NL West, and are winners of five straight.
Getting Edman back in the lineup as quickly as possible will only help them continue this streak.
