Rams News: Boston Scott Injured Vs Chargers
Scott remained seated on the painted turf of the end zone and was attended to by Rams medical staff. He did not return to the game. The Rams are notoriously cautious with players picking up injuries and have not given an official statement on his status.
The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue did post to X that “Boston Scott was down briefly on the field, now up and walking off the field with medical staff.”
Rams running back Zach Evans was the official starter, as he played the Rams’ first offensive drive, but Scott came in for the next two. The injury came on the third drive.
Scott had three carries for 10 yards. The lion’s share of those yards came on his first carry of nine yards. Last week, he took 15 carries for 68 yards.
Boston Scott was added to the team in free agency this year.
Scott returned in early in the second half.
