The Los Angeles Rams shocked the world on Sunday afternoon when they rode into Seattle and slobber-knocked the Seahawks. Matthew Stafford looked to be in MVP form. The young receivers and running backs looked up to the task. And the defense really balled out and absolutely shut the ‘Hawks down in the 2nd half.
Luckily, the Rams also came away fairly uninjured.
Below is the Rams Injury Update after Week 1.
OL Joe Noteboom – Ankle Sprain
WR Puka Nacua – Ribs “banged up a little bit”
DB Jason Taylor II – Groin
DB Ahkello Witherspoon – Rib and Hip Contusion
According to head coach Sean McVay, none of these injuries sustained should affect any of these players’ Week 2 status.
Last year the Rams were crushed by injuries, so it is certainly refreshing to make it out of Week 1 relatively unscathed.
