It still feels a bit shocking when it was announced prior to the season that Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard would be out indefinitely with a knee injury. That was nearly half a season ago, and fans have been eagerly waiting on when his season debut would finally occur.
That day has finally come.
According to ESPN’s NBA Insider Shams Charania, Leonard will make his season debut on Saturday.

Leonard will make his debut Saturday Night against the Atlanta Hawks in front of his home crowd at Intuit Dome.
Shockingly, the Clippers have weathered the storm rather well and currently sit in 7th place in the Western Conference with a 19-15 record, and only 3 games out of 3rd place.

Norman Powell has stepped up big time in Leonard’s absence and leads the team in scoring with 23.6 PPG. James Harden, the team leader and liaison, is 2nd in scoring averaging 21.4 PPG.
