The overall health of the Los Angeles Chargers was a major concern heading into their Wild Card playoff game against the Houston Texans. Their final injury report featured several starters and contributors including, JK Dobbins, Josh Palmer, and Denzel Perryman.
That report also featured three of their five starting offensive line. Left tackle Rashawn Slater, left guard, Zion Johnson, and right guard Trey Pipkins all missed practice time due to injuries. The first two were healthy enough to be ruled “In” for the game, but Pipkins was listed as questionable and ahead of the game was added to the inactive list.

In 2023, he started 16 games at right guard and 15 at left tackle after being drafted in the sixth round by the Chargers in 2022.
Last season, Pipkins allowed the second most pressures (41) and sacks (8) on the team. This year he has allowed eight pressures and one sack on 339 snaps played.
