Zachariah Branch and Calen Bullock Named Midseason All-Americans

USC WR Zachariah Branch and S Calen Bullock have both received some serious recognition, my friends! They’ve been named Midseason All-Americans. Can we get a round of applause, please? cue applause sound effect

Zachariah Branch was named to The Sporting News Midseason All-American Team and the ESPN Midseason All-American Team as a returner. Calen Bullock was selected to the AP Midseason All-American Team.

Let’s focus on the freshman sensation, Zachariah Branch. This guy is making the college football world go wild with his fancy footwork and electrifying returns. I mean, against Stanford, he had the audacity to return a punt for a 75-yard touchdown. Talk about making a grand entrance! And that’s not all, folks. He also scored a 96-yard kickoff return for a TD against San Jose State. Who needs a touchdown dance when you can just outrun everyone on the field, right?

But wait, there’s more! Branch is not just a return specialist, he’s also a receiver extraordinaire. He’s managed to rack up 2 touchdown receptions this season. And get this, he’s the first Trojan since Adoree’ Jackson back in 2016 to have both a punt return and kickoff return for a touchdown, along with at least one receiving touchdown in the same season. Now that’s a stat worth bragging about!

Now, let’s give a shoutout to our man Calen Bullock. As a junior, he’s proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end. He’s made 36 tackles so far, not to mention an interception and a team-leading 5 pass breakups. The guy is like a wall, shutting down opposing offenses left and right. We’ve got ourselves a lockdown safety!

Branch and Bullock are tearing it up on the field and making the USC fans go absolutely bananas. These Midseason All-Americans deserve all the praise. Keep doing your thing, guys, and keep making us laugh, cheer, and maybe even cry tears of joy. Fight on!
