Former WWE Diva’s champion Paige, born Saraya-Jade Bevis, used Twitter to announce the opening of her own online clothing store. The collection is called simply “Saraya.”
Paige has had a rough year, in which she suffered a serious neck injury that kept her sidelined for nearly 17 months, a suspension, and a highly publicized break up with former WWE superstar Albert Del Rio.
Paige made her highly anticipated return on November 20th, 2017 but she did not come alone. Paige brought with her NXT stars, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. The trio has created the group known as Absolution.
Absolution has wreaked havoc on the women’s division, however, on December 27th, Paige was injured during a tag team match with Bayley and Sasha Banks. She was able to walk off with assistance. Thankfully the injury was a minor one and Paige was back wreaking havoc on the next episode of RAW.
Nothing seems to keep the anti-diva down for long. The day after suffering the minor injury she launched her own clothing website. Even in her clothing line, the anti-diva pushes her lifelong motto of “Be Different Be You.”
Paige’s clothing collection includes men and women’s sweatshirts and t-shirts that display things such as “I Bite,” “Kinda Freaky,” and “I want a Goth Daddy.” Her clothing line comes with a message something that Paige has lived her life by: “I don’t want to be like you.” Paige is very comfortable being the misfit and living her life the way she chooses instead of the way the world says she should.
Her “I am who I am” attitude has gained her millions of fans who have stood behind her throughout all of her dark days. Her popularity and her famous wrestling family has also brought about a movie about her life growing up in a wrestling family. The film, which stars former WWE superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is titled “Fighting for my Family.” The film is set to be released in September of 2018.
