There were bound to be changes to the Rams rushing attack after the fiasco that was 2022. They cut Darrell Henderson, then drafted Zach Evans in the sixth round. They have made wholesale changes to their offensive coaching staff to help improve the running game, including hiring Mike LaFleur as offensive coordinator and Ron Gould as running backs coach.
After a strong finish by Cam Akers last season, it seemed that his standing is one thing that wouldn’t be changing. But then the Rams signed Sony Michel.
