Week 4 Injury Report For Jaguars and Jets

Here we are, the day before the game and Friday’s injury report is out.  The Jaguars look to be pretty much at 100% with only WR Jaelen Strong being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jets in New York.  The Jets, on the other hand, have some key personnel on this week’s injury report.  Linebacker Josh Martin, WR Charone Peake, TE Jordan Leggett, DE Muhammad Wilkerson, and RB Matt Forte all made the injury report.

These could lead to big plays for the Jags this week. With Wilkerson potentially sidelined, the rush coming after QB Blake Bortles can be handled by the Jags offensive line. Martin missing time in the middle of the defense could be a gift leading to more yards for Jags RB Leonard Fournette.  All of these things together could lead to another great offensive performance as the Jaguars look to keep rolling after their high-scoring show in London last week.

A win this week would be huge for their divisional standings and for the rest of their schedule. Sitting in second place in the division behind the Tennessee Titans who beat the Jaguars in Week 2, a win this week keeps them in the hunt for the divisional lead.  I know it’s early in the season, but for a growing Jacksonville team, this week is as close to a must-win game as it gets.  This Jags squad needs to rack up all the wins they can as early as they can this season.

The Jaguars and Jets square off in New York this Sunday at 1 pm ET.  Blake Bortles, Leonard Fournette, and the rest of the Jacksonville Jaguars look to make it to two in a row this week and try to make a statement in the AFC South early this season.

Prediction: Jags 24 Jets 17
