Less than a year after transferring to the USC Trojans from Alabama, Tre’quon Fegans has announced that he intends to enter the transfer portal when the new window opens on Monday, April 15th. This news comes a day after it was announced that interior offensive lineman Jason Zandamela also intends to transfer.

USC Trojans Lose High-Profile Cornerback

The 6’1″ 190 lbs sophomore played in three games last season and tallied nine tackles. He filled in while Jacobe Covington and  Ceyair Wright were out due to injury

Fegans was a 4-star prospect and was ranked as the 6th best cornerback in the nation.

All indications were that he was having a very solid spring, but the Trojans are deep in the secondary. It’s unlikely he would have started.

When Fegans originally joined the Trojans he cited the then USC defensive backs coach, Donte Williams, as a person he had built a strong relationship with. Williams has now moved on to coach DBs with Georgia.
