The banged-up Rams didn’t fare well against the 49ers in their home stadium for the long-awaited NFC Championship rematch, as they were defeated 24-9. With three legitimate opportunities to score in the RedZone, the offense wasn’t sharp enough to convert and made a crucial mistake down the stretch on the telegraphed screen to Cooper Kupp. The defense did what they could, considering defense back depth was hurt and Jimmy G was getting rid of the ball in 2.23 seconds (on average). Aaron Donald finished with 5 tackles and 2 for a loss, but they weren’t able to generate any sacks or turnovers in crucial moments. We’ll see them again in 4 weeks!
