What Chase Daniels had to say about His Former Los Angeles Chargers Teammate

“This is the 2024 QB power rankings, so we have to look forward to number 5, Justin Herbert,” Daniels said, “I love the fact that he gets a fresh start. I love the fact that [Jim] Harbaugh’s working with him, I think he’s gonna be a completely different player.”

Justin Herbert Will Be A Completely Different Player Under Harbaugh

Daniels didn’t give much in the way of details, but given the high ranking, he is optimistic about Herbert’s near-term future. It’s unclear what direction Jim Harbaugh will take the offense with so many moving pieces between now and the kick-off of Week 1. With Greg Roman as offensive coordinator, they will likely run the ball at a much higher rate. Harbaugh said his top priority is protecting the quarterback.

Herbert threw for 3134 yards and 20 touchdowns in 13 games last season, he missed the final four games with a broken finger.
