Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh wasted no time after being hired to prove he is one of the wildest coaches in the NFL. Now, one of the highest-paid NFL coaches has provided another example of why the Michigan Wolverines loved him and he’ll be a fan-favorite in Los Angeles.

Harbaugh has made headlines this season for a variety of reasons. From calling J.J. McCarthy the best quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft to calling the start of the NFL offseason program the start of a new year and calling the offensive line the most important position in football.

While some of the chatter is viewed around the league as mind games to influence the 2024 NFL Draft, it’s also just a representation of the beloved coach. He’s also a man of action with a love for his players, which helps explain a recent tattoo he got.

As captured by former Wolverines’ cornerback and top 2024 NFL Draft prospect Mike Sainristil, Harbaugh got a ’15-0′ tattoo to celebrate Michigan’s perfect season capped off by a national championship.

Harbaugh certainly didn’t have to get the tattoo to earn the respect of his former Michigan players. He was beloved in the Wolverines’ locker room and the success they had together is one of the reasons Michigan might break one of the NFL Draft records in 2024.

Of course, this also provides the Chargers’ locker room with a little motivation in the years to come. While Los Angeles probably won’t make a Super Bowl run next season, fans and players can feel pretty safe in assuming Harbaugh will get a tattoo if the Chargers eventually hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
