The Raiders tenure at the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum is seemingly coming to an end on Monday Night Football when they play host to the Denver Broncos. After a combined 38 years, the Raiders are looking for a new venue in 2019, before they move to Los Vegas in 2020.

The Raiders moved into the multipurpose stadium in 1966. They stayed until 1981 when they moved to Los Angeles, then came back home to the Coliseum in 1995. Millions of fans have sat in those seats and watched thousands of hours of Raiders football over this time. Expect the Raiders fans to have one final hoorah when they take the field on Christmas Eve.

The Broncos have lost their last two games and killed off any chance they had of playoff football this season. They got the better of the Raiders at Mile High Stadium all the way back in Week 2. There will be so much nostalgia and purpose from the Black Hole and Raiders Nation, but will it be enough to get the team across the line?

Sure, there are plenty of people out there who want the Raiders to lose to get their hands on the 2019 number one draft pick. But the 56,057 fans who will be in attendance on Monday will want the memory of a final Raiders victory to live on forever.

Derek Carr has looked better in recent weeks and is surely the quarterback to take this franchise into the future. Tight End Jared Cook seems to be getting bigger every week. He is a giant of a human and one of the biggest tight ends in the league. He clearly wants a contract extension beyond next season.  Along with Jalen Richard, they are starting to form a deadly combination on offense.

Nearly every football fan outside of Denver will want the Raiders to get the win this week and say farewell to the Coliseum in the right way. Thank you for all the memories.
