Daily Fantasy Football QB Pick: Jalen Hurts vs. Indianapolis Colts – $8,200

The Eagles suffered their first loss of the 2022 NFL season. They underestimated the Washington Commanders and played sloppily at times. This led to a mark in the loss column. Good luck to the team that has to play them after that loss! That unfortunate duty will fall to the Indianapolis Colts will face an angry Philadelphia team. Jalen Hurts didn’t have one of his best games against the Commanders but still managed to put up 22.8 fantasy football points in DFS even without throwing over 200 passing yards. The last time that he failed to throw for over 200 passing yards, he followed it up by throwing for 285 yards and four touchdowns.

So you can expect that Hurts is going to ball out on Sunday against the Colts. Start him this week because he has a good shot of being the highest-scoring quarterback in fantasy football this week.

Other QB Options: Joe Burrow vs. Pittsburgh Steelers ($6,800), Daniel Jones vs. Detroit Lions ($5,700)

Daily Fantasy Football RB Pick: Brian Robinson Jr. vs. Houston Texans – $5,300

Ever since Brian Robinson joined the Commanders offense, he’s been a big part of the rushing attack. He’s been in the lineup since Week 5 and he’s led the team in carries with 93 rushing attempts. The next closest is Antonio Gibson, who has only 50 carries in that same span. Clearly, Robinson is their main running back, and sprinkling in Gibson every so often.

The Commanders face the Houston Texans this week which is a welcome sign to this rushing offense. The Texans are surrendering 181.8 rushing yards per game, which is the highest amount in the NFL. Washington is seventh in the NFL in rushing attempts. Meaning, Robinson is a great low-cost option this week that should deliver a good amount of fantasy football points for your DFS roster this week.

Other RB Options: Cordarrelle Patterson vs. Chicago Bears ($6,200), Kenyan Drake vs. Carolina Panthers ($5,900)

Daily Fantasy Football WR Pick: Allen Robinson II vs. New Orleans Saints – $5,600

The unfortunate news for the Los Angeles Rams is that Cooper Kupp is going to be out for most likely the rest of the season. The biggest problem with the Rams offense was the lack of production from the offense outside of Kupp. Allen Robinson was brought in to fill the role vacated by Odell Beckham Jr., but he hasn’t quite delivered. If there was ever a time to build a relationship with Matthew Stafford, this would be the time.

Robinson should see a vast increase in targets in this offense and he has a great matchup against the Saints this coming week. New Orleans is surrendering the 10th most receiving yards to opposing wide receivers. Expect Robinson to be force-fed the ball. This could lead to a good amount of fantasy football points. Start him in DFS this week as this can be a good prediction for his rest of the season projections and whether he can be reliable.

Other WR Options: Kadarius Toney vs. Los Angeles Chargers ($5,400), Courtland Sutton vs. Las Vegas Raiders ($6,000)

Daily Fantasy Football TE Pick: George Kittle vs. Arizona Cardinals – $500

George Kittle wasn’t afraid to voice his opinion when he only got two targets in the 49ers past game against the Los Angeles Chargers. This offense is loaded with weapons and there is no guarantee who’s going to be the beneficiary any given week. This week though could point to Kittle having a fantastic game as Arizona can’t defend against the tight end.

The Cardinals defense is one of two defenses in the NFL that has allowed over 120 fantasy football points to opposing tight ends. Tight ends have racked up the most receptions, most receiving yards, and most receiving touchdowns against this Arizona defense. So while San Francisco can leverage so many different players to beat a defense, this match-up for Kittle seems too good to pass up. Expect Kyle Shanahan to draw up more plays for Kittle this week and for Kittle to put on a good show for the fans on Monday night in Mexico City.

Other TE Options: Dalton Schultz vs. Minnesota Vikings ($4,300), Hayden Hurst vs. Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,500)

Daily Fantasy Football FLEX Pick: Latavius Murray vs. Las Vegas Raiders – $5,000

This a reunion game for Latavius Murray as he started his career with the Raiders. He made only one Pro Bowl in his career so far and it was with the formerly Oakland Raiders. Now that he’s with the Broncos, Murray has become a focal point of the Denver backfield after being with the team for about a month. He’s actually led the team in rushing attempts over Melvin Gordon, who’s been with the team since Week 1. This just means that Murray is a better fit in this offense and has earned the trust of the coaching staff.

Denver is struggling to get things going on offense, but the last time they played the Raiders they scored over 20 points (They’ve only that done twice this entire season). Expect this offense to move the ball well against Las Vegas. Murray could be at the forefront of that attack.

Other FLEX options: Elijah Mitchell vs. Arizona Cardinals ($4,700), Darius Slayton vs. Detroit Lions ($5,000)

Daily Fantasy Football D/ST Pick: Ravens vs. Carolina Panthers – $4,000

Baker Mayfield is going to be starting for the Carolina Panthers this week. P.J. Walker is dealing with an ankle injury and will miss the game against the Ravens. Mayfield has experience facing the Ravens, after being the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns for the majority of his career.

While he’s faced the Ravens a ton, he’s not performed all that well against them. He’s thrown the most interceptions against Baltimore, along with taking the second-most sacks as well. With all that familiarity, this Ravens defense should be able to game plan a little easier given their previous success against him. This is the priciest defense in DFS this week, but Baltimore’s defense will perform at a high level which will make this defense worth every penny this week for your fantasy football lineup.

Other D/ST options: 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals ($3,000), Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,400)
