Start ‘Em

Theo Riddick, RB

It’s finally the week that Riddick finds the end zone again. Riddick has been below average in points due to his lack of touchdowns but has consistently been apart of the Lions offense. With the Browns coming up on the schedule, most would assume you should start Ameer Abdullah but the Browns have a solid run defense and Abdullah has struggled this season. Look for Riddick to find volume this week and score a touchdown.

Jets D/ST

The Jets might be the biggest surprise in the NFL this season. Sitting just under .500, the Jets should reach five wins this week as they take on the falling apart Buccaneers. With Jameis Winston out for this week and Doug Martin MIA, the Jets defense should have a field day. This should be a top streaming defense this week.

Alvin Kamara, RB

The Saints rookie has been blowing up since the Adrian Peterson trade. He consistently becomes better and more involved in the offense each week. The Bills present a tough matchup for the Saints but Kamara is so versatile that he should still be a solid RB2 this week. His ceiling is RB1 as he’s had a touchdown in each of his last two games.

Robert Woods, WR

I wrote about woods in the offseason as being a sleeper. Then Cooper Kupp and Sammy Watkins had to go and take some of the fun away. But Woods exploded last week against a Giants defense that seems to have lost the will to play. Woods will look to build off of his first two touchdowns of the season by being a prime target in a matchup against Houston’s defense. While the Texans have been an interesting team, the ineptitude of Tom Savage and the offense will give the Rams and Woods plenty of opportunities.

Ben Roethlisberger. QB

After a bye week, Big Ben will look to bounce back and have a good second half of the season. He gets a great opportunity at the beginning with a matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. With the rise of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Roethlisberger should be able to have a consistent offense and get back in top 10 fantasy quarterback range.

Sit ‘Em

Kirk Cousins, QB

Cousins has made plays for the Redskins but now has to face the rough part of the schedule. A matchup against the top 10 Vikings defense should prove difficult for Cousins. You could find better streaming options such as Josh McCown or anyone with a better matchup. Cousins will be swallowed up by this pass rush and have poor statistically numbers.

Doug Martin, RB

Martin has not been a top 25 fantasy back for the last few weeks. He was expected to be a top fantasy back when he finished his suspension but like much of the Buccaneers season, he has fallen short of expectations. The past few weeks he has been lower than an RB3 and there seems to be something going on in the background limiting Martin’s snaps. So against the Jets, it would be too risky to start the veteran running back.

Jonathan Stewart, RB

Stewart had a disastrous game last week. Two fumbles that almost lost the Panthers the game. There was a huge shift to Christian McCaffrey as there should have been to prevent the third accident. With that in mind, the coaches came out in defense of Stewart but expect a shift to McCaffrey this week. The Panthers could use last week to start the transition from committee back into McCaffrey only.

Bills D/ST

The Saints have been on a hot streak these last few weeks and could cause chaos in Buffalo this week. The Saints also have not scored less than 20 points this season. So you could find some better streaming defenses this week.

Keenan Allen, WR

Allen has been disappointing this season and Week 11 does not look to break the mold. The Jaguars have shut down basically everyone they have played this season. Their list of shutdowns consists of A.J. Green, DeAndre Hopkins, and T.Y. Hilton. Not trying to compare Allen to those guys but I would place my bet on Allen being the number one concern behind Melvin Gordon.
