Nation’s #1 DL Prospect To Visit USC Trojans This Weekend

Elijah Griffin, the nation’s top-ranked defensive lineman announced via Twitter that he will be visiting the USC Trojans and will be meeting with head coach, Lincoln Riley and co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach, Eric Henderson.

USC Trojans Attracting New Attention From Top Of Class

USC may not have been at the top of Griffin’s list before. He was offered a scholarship by the school in August of 2023 but had yet to visit. Georgia was thought to be the front runner as he is from Savanah, but since then the Trojans have added Henderson to the staff and two visits have been scheduled. He will also meet in an official capacity in June.

A chance to work with Aaron Donald’s former coach and current good friend is already proving to attract top defensive talent. USC Football Defensive Coach “Wants All The Smoke” Of Recruiting

The 6’3″ 270 lbs junior is rated as the top defensive lineman in his class by ESPN, 247 Sports, and On3. Last season, he racked up 97 tackles, 31 for loss including 17.5 sacks in 14 games.
