Debate: Who Do You Want The Los Angeles Chargers Schedule To Open Up Against?

The beautiful thing about the NFL Offseason is that it never truly feels like an offseason. After the Super Bowl, there are league meetings, then the highly anticipated Free Agency period, then the spectacle that is the NFL Draft (a whole season in its own right), and now, shortly after the Draft, we have the NFL schedule release. In recent years, the schedule release has been transformed into a full-length television event, and this year is no different.

So what will the Los Angeles Chargers schedule look like?

2022 Chargers Home Opponents

The 2022 home opponents that the Chargers will face are as followed: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, Tennesse Titans, and Miami Dolphins.

2022 Chargers Away Opponents

The 2022 away opponents for the Chargers are: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, and Atlanta Falcons.

There are great reasons for a number of teams to be the first ones on the Chargers Schedule. The Rams would be fun for the obvious reason of the LA rivalry. But I’m not sure the Chargers will want to open up against the defending Super Bowl Champs, and the Rams will no doubt open the season as a home team to raise their banner.

The Raiders and Broncos are both division rivals (already announced that the Chargers will face the Chiefs in Week 2), and these are always extremely entertaining games, especially this season with all of the offseason moves.

The Dolphins would be another fun option as we would get to see Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert, former 5th and 6th overall picks, respectively, square off. But what do you think? Make sure to vote above and let us know why!
