Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt recent all-pro performance diced up a deflated Cincinnati Bengals defense. Hunt along with record-setting Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made big after big plays against a Bengals defense ranked 31st. Hunt’s display of speed, power and agility, makes his case all the more credible for his second straight pro bowl appearance.

Hunt is an elite top three running back with 542 yards on the ground in just seven games. Wake up 1,000 yards and smell the roses for Hunt at the end of the season. He rushed 15 times for a total of 86 yards with one touchdown in the Chiefs win against the Bengals on Sunday night. Add two more scores with five receptions for 55 yards from Mahomes and there you have it: Hunt should be your starter for the remainder of the fantasy football season.

The Chiefs finished the Bengals in a 45-10 final.

The All-Everything Back With Super Bowl Aspirations

Chiefs back Kareem Hunt is the all-everything running back for the Chiefs and he aspires to help his team reach the Super Bowl. He has excellent hands, combined with remarkable acceleration, power, and quickness. This guy is unique and brings a particular dynamic to the Chiefs offense. He is reminiscent of former Philadephia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook but on a bigger scale.

Hunt’s fantasy numbers keep on climbing into week 8, and his NFL fantasy PPR rank him third behind first-place Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley, and second-place New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley per Fabiano rankings. Look Kareem Hunt’s role to be expanded in receiving, to unleash designed matchup advantages against the Denver Broncos in week eight.
