Arizona State is bowl eligible after defeated UCLA, 31-28, on Saturday.

In his first season with the Sun Devils, Herm Edwards has not only led his team to bowl eligibility but he’s helped bring them to a pretty good chance at taking the Pac-12 South title.

UCLA stayed with ASU throughout the game, but they fell short to a strong game by QB Manny Wilkins and RB Eno Benjamin.

In what was most likely both Wilkins and wide receiver N’Keal Harry‘s last home games as Sun Devils, they were visibly emotional after the game concluded.

Here’s a look at how our Sun Devils prospects performed in week ten.

QB Manny Wilkins

Week 10 Stats vs UCLA: 16/22, 199 YDS, 1 INT, 1 PASS TD, 3 RUSH TD

Wilkins ended Saturday’s game with a good performance to send him off. It was his last home game as a Sun Devil, leaving him entirely emotional after the game and into the postgame press conference.

Wilkins was able to run the ball in for a 13-yard touchdown at the beginning of the second before completing a 5-yard pass to RB Nick Ralston at the end of the quarter. He connected with Benjamin for a 1-yard run in the third and ran it in himself for one yard at the end of the fourth.

Grade vs UCLA: A-

Draft Stock: 6th – 7th Round

Matchup Preview vs Oregon:

Wilkins and the Sun Devils face a hard test on Saturday as they travel to Eugene to play the Ducks. The Oregon defense has allowed an average of 28 points per game this season, something Wilkins will have to maneuver as he tries to lead his team to win in Autzen Stadium.

In securing a win against the Ducks, Wilkins and the Devils will be that much closer to the Pac-12 South title. It won’t be easy, but Wilkins has gone up against tougher defenses this season.

WR N’Keal Harry

Week 10 Stats vs UCLA: 7 REC, 100 YDS

Harry, most likely, played his last game in Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday as it is anticipated that he’ll enter the NFL Draft next year. It wasn’t his most exciting game, but it was definitely an emotional one. Harry ended the day with seven carries for on100 yards. As it’s most likely that he’ll be gone next season, it was certainly felt throughout Sun Devil Stadium that he will be momentously missed by the fans.

Grade vs UCLA: B

Draft Stock: 1st – 2nd Round

Matchup Preview vs Oregon:

As with Wilkins, Harry will need to be keen on finding ways to break through the Duck defense.  This ASU offense has experience going up against tough opponents, and they have a great opportunity to use that against Oregon on Saturday.

The Sun Devils will most likely be utilizing their run game with Benjamin as much as possible, so Harry might be able to squeeze in a few plays that Oregon won’t be as prepared for.

RB Eno Benjamin

Week 10 Stats vs UCLA: 34 CAR, 182 YDS, 1 TD

Benjamin was one of the leading factors in the Sun Devil against the Bruins on Saturday. He tallied 34 carried for 182 yards and a touchdown. His 1-yard score came in the third quarter and gave the Sun Devils a greater lead against the Bruins, 24-14. In this game against UCLA, Benjamin’s 34 carries were a career-high.

Grade vs UCLA: A

Draft Stock: 4th – 5th Round

Matchup Preview vs Oregon:

Benjamin, arguably, will have the hardest time out of all the prospects against the Ducks. The Oregon defense is going to be focused on the run game of Benjamin, as they have already stated in press conferences leading up to Saturday’s game that they know they’re going up against, arguably, the best running back in the Pac-12.

Oregon has been allowing about 152 rush yards per game, a number that seems easy to Benjamin. If he can get through gaps left open by the defense, Benjamin has the chance to come up huge against the Ducks.

DB Chase Lucas

Week 10 Stats vs UCLA: 6 TOT, 5 SOLO, 1 INT

Lucas had an impactful game against the Bruins on Saturday. QB Wilton Speight was marching down the field for what would have ended in a score, but Lucas intercepted his pass at the 24. In turn, Wilkins and Benjamin rushed the ball down the field and the RB got a score to help push the Sun Devil lead against the Bruins. Though Lucas has had some mediocre games, the DB has made his presence known with the Sun Devil defense.

Grade vs UCLA: A-

Draft Stock: 6th – 7th Round

Matchup Preview vs Oregon:

Oregon is pretty favored to win Saturday’s game against the Devils, though their records are the same and ASU has a better conference record. Playing in Autzen Stadium isn’t usually a treat for visiting teams and the Oregon offense will use this to their advantage. Lucas is going up against QB Justin Herbert, who has thrown for 2,621 yards, 25 touchdowns and 6 interceptions on the season.

Coupling with Herbert is WR Dillon Mitchell, who has 64 receptions for 1,002 yards and eight touchdowns on the season. It’ll be a hard-fought game for Lucas and the Sun Devils, but they have the ability to get something done against the Ducks if they really want it.
