SEATTLE, Wash. – In an impressive season-opening performance, the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks with a dominating 30-13 victory at Lumen Field. Led by outstanding performances from running backs Kyren Williams and Cam Akers, as well as wide receivers Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell, the Rams showcased their offensive firepower.

Seattle answered back with a touchdown pass from Geno Smith to DK Metcalf, allowing them to regain the lead 10-7 in the second quarter. A field goal by Jason Myers extended Seattle’s lead to 13-7.

The Rams had the opportunity to cut into their deficit before halftime, but Brett Maher‘s 57-yard field goal attempt was blocked.

After the break, the Rams opened the 3rd quarter with an impressive touchdown drive and then never looked back.

In the final quarter, the Rams sealed their victory with a 1-yard touchdown run by Cam Akers on 4th and goal. Maher continued his impressive form with a 54-yard field goal, extending the Rams’ lead to 27-13. With just 11 seconds left in the game, Maher successfully kicked a 45-yard field goal, capping off the Rams’ dominant second-half performance and securing the 30-13 victory.
