Hayden Lowe, a four-star defensive line prospect out of Westlake Villiage, CA has added both the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans to his increasingly busy summer schedule, according to Greg Biggins of 247 Sports.

The 6’4″ 242 lbs edge rusher will visit Miami, Oregon, and Texas in addition to the schools in his hometown.

Lowe has already visited both schools and both made an impression on him,

“I like UCLA and they’re just down the street from me,” Lowe said. “I’m excited about the new staff and what they’re building so I’m looking forward to getting up there.

“I like the new defensive staff a lot,” Lowe said. “I’ve had great conversations with coach (Shaun) Nua and coach (Eric) Henderson. I’m really intrigued by what they’re building right now and they see me as key piece.”

Both UCLA and USC have seen major overhauls to their coaching staffs and recruiting efforts this offseason.

In eight games as a junior at Oaks Christian High School, Lowe racked up 29 tackles, seven for loss and two sacks, and seven hurries, per MaxPreps.
