SmackDown Live tonight was held tonight in Washington D.C. This was the last Smackdown before the Royal Rumble. Did Team Blue do a good job with their go home show? Here is my full WWE SmackDown Summary.

The show kicks off with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. They predict winning the WWE Championship. AJ Styles confronts them and goes back and forth on the mic with them. Daniel Bryan comes out but AJ makes the main event match himself which will be AJ taking on KO and Zayn in consecutive one-on-one matches.

Analysis: Predictable segment. Wasn’t anything special about it, just setting up for the main event.

Chad Gable def. Jey Uso

Analysis: Pretty good match. That heel kick out of nowhere by Gable was impressive. I look forward to their match at the Rumble.Naomi def. Liv Morgan

Analysis: Okay match. Did they really need to have all of them brawl just to have Charlotte come out? It just felt out of place.

Shinsuke Nakamura def. Baron Corbin by DQ.

Analysis: It wasn’t all too exciting until it was getting to the closing. People really got into it by then especially with Randy Orton RKO’ing both men.

Bobby Roode and New Day def. Jinder Mahal and Rusev Day.

Analysis: Pretty entertaining match. Can’t say much more about it. Hopefully, Bobby does great as U.S. Champion.AJ Styles def. Kevin Owens, right after that Sami Zayn def. AJ Styles.

Analysis: I love the mean streak AJ had tonight. These two matches weren’t bad at all. Kevin Owens sold his leg injury well and the story told overall sets up their match this Sunday well. Zayn beating AJ helped Zayn without hurting AJ. The consecutive matches was a nice way to end things.

Overall: This was a decent go home show. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the Rumble this Sunday night.
