Without further ado, here is a full recap of last night’s SmackDown Live episode.AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and Shane McMahon segment. Shane makes the main event match for Corbin vs AJ. Shane makes Dolph Ziggler vs Owens take place immediately.

Analysis: Pretty much a predictable segment. Almost every star in the WWE title match coming out to talk about the match at Fastlane.

Kevin Owens def Dolph Ziggler

Analysis: Pretty good match. The right guy won. Kevin’s kick to Dolph’s head looked brutal.

Bobby Roode, Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal promo segment.

Analysis: Bobby’s promo was okay. Sure enough, it will lead to a match with Orton. Jinder showing Bobby’s top 10 list kinda felt flat.Riott Squad def. Charlotte, Naomi, and Becky Lynch

Analysis: Okay match. This rivalry is not that interesting and can’t see where they are going here with this.

The New Day def. Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable to be the #1 contenders

Analysis: Good match. Glad the New Day won and we get another Usos and New Day match. Those two teams work very well together.

The Bludgeon Brothers def. Local Competitors

Analysis: It’s getting repetitive with them beating down jobbers. Hopefully, they do something different with them soon.AJ Styles def. Baron Corbin

Analysis: Pretty good main event. Glad AJ won the match. Wasn’t a special main event but was decent overall.

Overall: This was a “meh” show. Nothing interesting or intriguing happened here. Hope to see what they do next week though.
