The TV show GLOW on Netflix has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has 8.0 out of 10 stars on IMDB. The show chronicles a past wrestling promotion containing only women, hints the name the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling. This is where WWE diva Ivory got her start. She performed there under the name of Tina Ferrari. That ended in 1990, but Ivory never lost her drive to compete and in 1999 she arrived in WWE. Now she is going to be a Hall of Famer.Ivory started out with a bang. Her first time on TV she was on the same side as D’Lo Brown and Mark Henry. She helped them by getting involved in a feud early on with Jeff Jarrett, Owen Hart, and Debra. Ivory was able to claim the Women’s Championship from Debra not long after that.

Ivory gained the Women’s Title a total of 3 times. She first won it from Debra in 1999. She lost it to another Hall of Famer in The Fabulous Moolah. She regained the title not long after the loss. During a time of discontent in women’s wrestling due to the lack of seriousness it had, Ivory helped to solidify the women in wrestling as true athletes instead of just objects put out in the ring to look pretty. Helping her solidify this concept, she joined the faction Right to Censor in 2000. It was with this group that she won her third title from Lita.Ivory slowly began to slow down her work on screen with the WWE and slowly worked into behind the scenes positions. She officially stopped her WWE career in 2005 and returned to the independent circuit for a year. She returned to WWE in 2015 with appearances on WWE Network and a few wrestling conventions.

Today, Ivory mainly works to help animals, a serious love she has. She has a company called Downtown Dog where she works as a higher up business partner, as well as grooming and training animals there. Ivory is the latest female to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and has earned it throughout her career. She worked during the Attitude Era and carved out her own niche. Congratulations Ivory!
