The USC Trojans just wrapped up a massive Junior Day that was deemed a huge success. A bevy of elite prospects took to campus on Saturday to meet the staff, see the facilities, and a whole lot more.

While no commitments have been announced as of yet, there are plenty of conversations about some coming, and a few flip candidates are starting to trend toward the Trojans, as well.

The Trojans did, however, just receive a prediction for a big offensive lineman that could, in turn, have positive ramifications for future recruits.

USC Trojans Receive Expert Prediction For 4-Star OL Vlad Dyakonov

After a great visit over the weekend, Steve Wiltfong of On3 has logged an expert prediction for the USC Trojans to land Folsom, CA OL Vlad Dyakonov.

Of the visit, Dyakonov told On3:

“The trip was great. USC left a big impression on me and I am very interested. I would say they are in my top schools for sure. I like Coach Hanson and Coach Reed a lot and I like their plan of getting guys to the NFL.”

The 6’7, 270-pound offensive tackle has offers from Minnesota, Arizona State, and Utah, among others.

While gaining the commitment of Dyakonov would be great in its own right, it would be another commitment from Folsom, which has become a football power in California and is turning into a bit of a pipeline for USC.

Lincoln Riley has been recruiting 5-star QB Ryder Lyons from Folsom, and getting another one of his teammates to SoCal could certainly help the cause.

We will have more updates from the loaded weekend as many recruits have spoken highly of the staff and coaches.
