We were planning on breaking this news a few days ago, but unfortunately, the fires in Los Angeles forced me to evacuate and pushed the timeline back a bit. But we are absolutely thrilled to announce that our very own Alfred Rowe, host of the USC LAFB Show, has just been hired as the Jordan High School Football Coach.
On the hiring, Coach Rowe said: “I’m really happy to be here. I have 100% support from the administration and feels like the place I’m meant to be.”
Coach Rowe will continue on with the USC LAFB Show, and in fact, this will give the show more opportunity and access to the high school and recruiting world.
As many who follow the show know, Rowe is a Long Beach Poly alum and played for the USC Trojans during the Pete Carroll era.
Rowe had been an assistant coach at Wilson, Cabrillo, and Millikan over the last decade as well as at the NCAA level at New Mexico Highlands and Texas A&M Kingsville.
Jordan finished 3-7 last season and lost 33-0 to rival Long Beach Poly. Coach will look to get the program turned around, while also creating a great relationship with the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins.
