USC Football: Top 2024 Recruit to Enter Transfer Portal

More bad news for USC Football. Just a day after news of Bear Alexander’s plans to enter the transfer portal caused a stir then was soon refuted, USC’s top recruit of this season’s class has announced his planned trip out of Southern California via the portal.

True freshman Jason Zandamela was the top-graded interior offensive lineman of his class and a boon to a USC O-line group that struggled last year.

The 6’3″ 305 lbs Mozambique native turned Floridian had 34 offers including from Florida, Florida State, and Miami. He also received offers from football powerhouses, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Oregon. On3 gives, FSU the best odds of landing the former rugby players. The campus is less than 200 miles from his home in Clearwater. He visited the program five times before committing to USC.

The next transfer portal window opens on Monday, April 15th.
