Less than 24 hours after the defensive coaching staff’s introductory press conference, where famed defensive line coach Eric Henderson touted his passion and commitment to recruiting, it was announced that one of the nation’s top 2025 defensive line recruits will visit with USC football in an official capacity.
Justus Terry had verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over a year ago, but according the Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports, the 6’5″ 270 lbs defensive tackle will take visits with other interested parties including USC. Other schools that are in pursuit are Florida State University and the University of Miami.
The junior from Manchester Georgia recorded 38 tackles, 4 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and an INT in 10 games per MaxPreps. he also caught 3 passes for 100 yards and 1 TD as a tight end.

USC football built its coaching staff specifically to attract players like Terry. D’Anton Lynn, Eric Henderson, Doug Belk, and Matt Entz are all in their positions because they were identified by Lincoln Riley as top developers of defensive talent.

As of today, Terry’s Instagram still reads “UGA Commit”
