In 2023 USC Football‘s Zachariah and Zion Branch started a nonprofit organization called the Branch Out Foundation. Its mission is to support youth initiatives including homelessness, after-school programs, health and wellness as well as other charitable causes, through leading with a servant’s heart.
It was announced today that the Branch brothers will be hosting the Branch Out Topgolf Classic, its inaugural event, on July 14 at Topgolf El Segundo.
Topgolf is a sports entertainment complex that offers a high-tech golf game, food and drinks, and climate-controlled hitting bays. The game involves hitting golf balls into targets on a driving range, with the distance and target you hit determining your score.

“We are thrilled to launch The Branch Out Foundation with our first event, the Branch Out Topgolf
Classic,” said Zion Branch, a redshirt sophomore safety on the Trojan football team. “We look forward
to bringing people together for a day of fun and philanthropy.”
“Our parents raised Zion and I to have a heart for giving back to those who are less fortunate than us,”
said Zachariah Branch, a 2023 First Team All-American who is entering his sophomore season at
wide receiver. “We recognize how blessed we are, and how important it is to make a positive impact
in our community.”
