True Freshman Wide Receiver Zachariah Branch is College Football’s next phenom. After his two-touchdown performance (one receiving and one kick return), he began to draw comparisons to some USC legends.
Now it has only been four quarters, but I think it is safe to say at the very least that Zachariah Branch had one of the greatest SC debuts in recent memory, as a true freshman no less.
Branch is one of those generational talents that just gets better as the game goes on. As the 2023 USC mantra goes “The Longer It Goes, The Better We Get.” Only good things can happen when Branch has the ball in his hands.
So that begs the question, how many touches should Branch have against Nevada?

Update: After the Trojans first drive, Zachariah Branch already has one touchdown.
