Los Angeles Chargers vs Los Angeles Rams was a HUGE win for the LA Chargers Week 17 game this 2022 NFL Season. The Chargers have made the NFL Playoffs and secured the Wild Card but whether they get the 5th or 6th seed depends on the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens game. If in Bengals vs Ravens, the Ravens win then the Chargers have 6 if the Bengals win, LAC gets the 5th seed in the AFC Playoffs.
The Chargers have officially made the Wildcard playoffs under Brandon Staley this season with their first 10-win season in a long time.
Justin Herbert played a great game vs the LA Rams and so did the entire offense as this was probably Joe Lombardi’s best game of his ENTIRE career as an Offensive Coordinator and that includes the Detroit Lions.
The Chargers defense played very well against Baker Mayfield and only let up a few runs vs Cam Akers but did enough to get the 31-10 win vs the Rams and not allow many scoring opportunities for Sean McVay. Last week though Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense struggled not getting many highlights in Chargers vs Colts and with Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Austin Ekeler, Josh Palmer, Josh Kelley, and DeAndre Carter all healthy and playing, Justin Herbert still looked like the elite top 5 QB in the NFL that we all know he is. The Chargers defense only allowed 3 points vs the Colts and Nick Foles and the defense had 7 sacks and 3 interceptions! Derwin James, Asante Samuel Jr., Kenneth Murray, Morgan Fox, Khalil Mack, Kyle Van Noy, Drue Tranquil, and Michael Davis all played great to get some Highlights for this Chargers defense to close out the 2022 NFL Regular Season very soon!
