Sports Talk With A Side Of Meatballs is back and in this episode, we discuss the big, dark cloud that is hovering over the league: Concussion Protocol. In Thursday’s contest between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson appeared to be hit in the head and was forced to leave the field to be checked for a possible concussion.

However, Wilson never enters the concussion protocol. Upon entering the medical tent, he immediately left, stating to team doctors that he was fine and was needed back on the field. What’s up with that? Isn’t the protocol mandatory? Do quarterbacks get special privilege? We discuss.

Since we are at the midway point of the NFL season, why not hand out our awards for Coach of the Year? Who do you have? We tell you our locks of the year, along with the top players through 10 weeks and who will finish the season as the best at their position.

All of this and more in another SAD Podcast cooked to perfection!
