The Rams sit at 4-3 through seven weeks and are in the midst of a three-game losing streak. Los Angeles made a couple of trades to improve their team with the addition of OL Austin Corbett from the Browns, and the big move was the acquisition of highly talented Jalen Ramsey from the Jaguars. The Rams clearly are taking a gamble with the trade for Ramsey with giving up three draft picks, two of them being first rounders, but they sent a message to the team. They need to turn things around and they need to do it quick. Let’s take a look at the rest of schedule and predict how the Rams will finish this season.

Week 8 vs Bengals

Bengals are just a hair better than the Dolphins, and they will be competing for the top pick in the draft. The Bengals linebackers struggle in space and McVay takes advantage of that matchup. Rams win in London.

34-10

5-3

Week 9 – Bye

As we see it, the Rams will head to the bye 5-3.

Week 10 vs Steelers

Playing in Pittsburgh is never an easy task. The Steelers have a great front seven and can get after the passer. The Rams will have to get the run game going to help neutralize the Steelers pass rush. The Steelers have arguably the best pass-blocking offensive line in the game which helps going up against the likes of Aaron Donald and Co. This one will come down to the very end, but Rams lose on the road to Steelers.

27-24

5-4

Week 11 vs Bears

The Rams get revenge on the Bears in a rematch of last year’s matchup that was in Chicago. Mitch Trubisky seems to have taken a step back this year, and on top of that, is banged up. The Rams, having played this defense last year, will be better prepared to combat Khalil Mack and the vaunted Bears defense. LA makes just enough plays on offense to come out with the win at home.

24-20

6-4

Week 12 vs Ravens

This is another tough matchup for the Rams. Lamar Jackson is so hard to prepare for as there is no one in the league like him. The Rams will be able to score on the Ravens whose defense isn’t your typical Baltimore defense. It would not be shocking to see LA go after the former DB Marcus Peters all game and beat the Ravens.

34-28

7-4

Week 13 vs Cardinals

Trap game for the Rams. They will be coming off a short week after a Monday night win against Baltimore and play Kyler Murray and the Cardinals. The Cardinals’ defense is terrible, and the Rams should be able to run the ball and control the pace. This game will be close for most of the contest, but the Rams deliver a knockout punch in the fourth quarter and win by 10.

34-24

7-5

Week 14 vs Seahawks

Big game for the Rams. They have already lost to the Seahawks in Seattle and can ill afford to get swept in the season series. This game is going to come down to whether or not Jared Goff can avoid the big mistake. It should be another high scoring affair, but Russell Wilson is the MVP to date and crushes Rams’ fans hearts. LA loses and are swept by the Seahawks in 2019.

38-34

8-5

Week 15 vs Cowboys

Dallas has faltered after their 3-0 start. It will be December when this game is played, and no one can trust Dallas when it’s crunch time. Dallas’s defense has not been as impressive as many thought it would be. Dak Prescott is taking a beating this year, and their offense has been wildly inconsistent. The Rams go into Dallas and win.

28-23

9-5

Week 16 vs 49ers

The 49ers could potentially have the division locked up by now, but probably not as the Seahawks are right behind them. The Niners will have a lot to play for in this one and will be at home. In a season-defining moment, Jared Goff pulls out the gusty win after taking a beating by that Niners front. The Rams escape Levi Stadium with a victory.

26-23

10-5

Week 17 vs Cardinals

In the ultra-competitive NFC, the Rams will need to secure the win to get in the playoffs. The Cardinals will fight hard all year, but the Rams in a must-win game will be too much for Arizona. Goff has a big day against that secondary. They defeat the Cardinals 38-23 at home and secure a wild card spot at 11-5.
